Having huge problems in booting up my laptop!

Hey people,
Sorry if my thread title is bad but I am in kind of a huge messed up situation with my laptop.

I have a toshiba laptop which comes with windows 7 home premium pre installed. Since today morning my laptop wont boot up. It will go to the screen showing starting windows and then a blue screen. I dont know why was that happening. Then applying my own intelligence I screwed it up more. I inserted Windows 7 ultimate cd and went to the stage where they show the drives for installing the windows. I deleted the partition that had the recovery disk and I deleted the partition which had the system files(this one was by mistake). Now I cant repair my computer.

Please someone tell me if there is a way to recover my windows without me loosing my data. Btw I am in college and all my projects are there in that. I dont have a backup copy of it. I really need to recover my windows without loosing anything.

I dont have a backup copy of the recovery media as I never thought it would be required.

Please someone tell me a step by step solution to this problem. You can see how pro I am .

Don't know of any way, with what you have now, of restoring Win7. With the Recovery partition, it was possible. Since you removed that, now, it is not. I understand that you accidentally removed the OS partition, but why on earth would you remove the Recovery partition -- KNOWING that you had no way to restore Win7?

To restore the OS, you need either a Win7 installation DVD (any version will do) or you need to contact Toshiba and see if they will sell you a set of full-restore media.

Either of those, of course, will result in ALL your Win7 files and settings being gone. However, if you're willing to do some work, and spend some money, you may be able to recovery your files. IF so, read on; if not, we're done...

If you've got this far, then let's continue ...

First thing you must do is STOP using the current hard drive. Period. Every time you use the drive, you worsen the chance of recovering anything from it.

Second, you will need to be able to (1) remove the drive from your PC and (2) hook it up to another PC. This is because you need to have another drive available as a target drive for file recovery.

If you have those, then using the other PC, download and install GetDataBack for NTFS from Runtime Software. The trial version is free.

Launch that and set it in deepest discovery mode -- and let it run overnight.

In the morning, check to see what it found. If it found your files, and if they appear to be OK, then revisit the Runtime Software site, purchase a license for the product, download and install the license. This will activate the recovery feature and you can now copy the files from your drive to the drive on the other PC.

There are also partitioning products (like Partition Wizard) that may be able to recovery the entire partitions -- but I haven't used those and defer to others on this forum who have ...

yea after formatting my hard disk and loosing up all my data...my booting issue was resolved...i dont know if it was bsod or some other kind of blue screen

You can copy out your data even if Win7 doesn't start: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console or using Paragon Rescue CD freeware.

You likely had onboard the System Recovery Options even if you didn't have Repair CD (make one now) or Win7 DVD to do repairs. You needed to boot into those to run Startup Repair to fix your Win7.

If that doesn't work you need to check for infection by running Malwarebytes in Safe Mode or downloading, writing to stick or burning to CD, then booting to run Full Scan with Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper.

Save these steps for the future so you know what to do instead of randomly ruining your Win7 with what are probably the most ridiculous moves I've ever seen anyone make short of throwing their laptop in the bathtub.

There is an old saying, your data doesn't exist if its not saved in more than 6 locations...

Ok I think that's OTT. But I'm currently sitting on 5 backup drives! And I'm in the process of making a home server, so that will add 3 more drives lol.

I then know if any of my pcs fail I have a full backup of all my files.
