HD5770 Black screen Crash desperate need of help!

So the PSU is also good, and cannot be the source of the problem.

No problem is there from your part. It is those games only those are behaving bad. Time to contract the developers of those games. Ask for some custom settings for your system, or some patches which can make it stable there.

Alright, I shall contact them. I do use the same settings as on my Pc downstairs, everything on low and exactly the same thing that I use on this computer. Could it be the settings?

Now it's getting interesting, I changed my settings. It worked fine for 1 full day! But then it crashed again, this time no black screen but a white one with black stripes in it, and the event log shows some kinda hardware error?

Can you guys get something out of this log? Note that my Bios settings and everything are still on default.

Ok, I guess that I was lucky that it worked one day, played a game gave 2 crashes in less then 10 minutes.

The one from above and a grey screen crash..Also just ran an update, for word, probably not gonna fix anything too

Thats strange, tried to open them myself worked fine. Here is another log, I was trying to unisntall my GPU and boom blue screen, couldnt boot to desktop had to run repair install to get it fixed.

Went on another pc to make sure it wasn't just me, I can open the files just fine on 2 computers.

No sign of any issue there, and we did not found any issue with your system even earlier. Cannot blame anything that is causing the crashes.

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to go over the install most thoroughly.

If nothing turns up compare the installs you did with the perfect install compiled in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 based on what's worked best in tens of thousands of installs we've helped with here.

You can do a diagnostic installl where after Win7 install per the tutorial to a HD wiped with Diskpart Clean Command, enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) and first install only the Drivers from Important and Optional lists, then check performance using the game which crashed before. If it crashes, System restore to before the drivers install to test again, then install the drivers singly to pinpoint the one causing the crash.

If no crashes, next install the rest of the Updates in small groups testing performance after each group's required reboot. Then continue checking for Updates until all are installed in the same small groups with performance tested between each.

Next import the drivers still missing in Device Manager testing performance between each one.

Then install programs one at a time using the same method testing at length after each one, ready to use its restore point if a crash.

This can pinpoint the driver or program causing the crash.

If it crashes before anything except Win7 is installed to a wiped HD it pretty much has to be hardware unless a subsequent driver or Update delivered as prescribed smooths performance as some do.

Haven't noticed any mention of any scans of any significance for my two cents worth would be worth a run of these would not go amiss at least it eliminates any problems via these.

The other thing is I could make out the temps in that Speccy shot as my eyesight is not crash hot at the moment

I did rune SFC, Chkdsk, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Nod32 a few weeks ago with no results and deleted them afterwards.

However, after an e-mail with the game it seems it is a problem with the game itself! All this headache for nothing.

And now I lost all my OC settings, I had it on a paper but my mom threw that away, are you guys any good with ocing?

All I can remember is the memory timing which is 9-9-9-24 and my CPU @ 9x400 but I can't remember the DRAM MHz and stuff..

Any of you any good with ocing?

Everything working as before, Setup E8400 @ 3,6 ( 9x400, northstrap auto) Ddr3@ 9-9-9-24 88 Ref Dram MHz 1334 3:5
Pci 110, this however was unstable, runs fine @ 103.

Temps below 45, can play Far cry 3 maxed on these settings @ 1920x1080
