My OS is win7 -64bit. Dell Inspiron laptop.

1. Recently caught Mediashifting virus, when tried to install spywear doctor to remove it, I was told to uninstall AVG first, for some reason, I could not uninstall AVG, panel control disable the option, I then went to AVG folder, tried to delete it manually, but some files could not be removed, however, I left it.

2. One day later, computer freezed, I cut the power and tried to restart, but just got startup repair option. Tried, but could not repair and could not reboot in either option: safe mode or others. When I chose safe mode, the screen turned blue and show "error C0000135, %hs is missing..."

3. Tried to repair by wins7 installation CD, tried Bootrec, sfc/ etc. still could not reboot. Sfc showed some files corrupted, but I do not how to get and read the . Log file. As I could not Boot the wins 7, how can I copy and read in notepad?

4. managed copied all my important files by USB winPE

I really need someone to help me repair the damaged windows file manually. I do not want to Do image restore or reinstall the system.
Please help me!!!

Try this, I read it here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt

I have the same problem, haven't gotten to run SFC yet but noticed that combofix and malware bytes tried to remove a DLL.

Did you fix yours?
