Alright, so I had recently installed a custom set of system icons, and I love them. My only problem is the "settings" icon which looks like a cog.

To ensure you understand which I am talking about, heres an image:

I know how to easily change any normal programs icon, but these icons are the default icons and need a bit of extra tinkering to change them.

If anyone knows how to manually change this cog icon, or knows of a program that allows you to do so, it would be very much appreciated to hear from you. :D

Actually, the cog or gear symbol is being frequently used by other versions of Windows such as Win10, Win8.1 and applications' toolbars such as in Internet Explorer. I would think your cog is part of the customization you did and a solution would be found at the site where you got the "custom set of system icons", if indeed there is a solution/fix. Because of my work with others and their computers I have to stay away that type customization, don't want the clients to get confused.
