help choosing programs ...

1- for burning MP3 CDs and ISO i use Roxio Creator 2010 Pro
it does the job but it is kind of heavy and slow ( 3.34 GB )
so what's the best and lightest program for burning ?

2- for playing media i use media player classic with the k-lite codec pack
it's great and it can play anything but "RMVB" ... so i had to install realplayer
is there any player that can play everything ?

Roxio Creator 2010 Pro is indeed a heavy application, making it slow to install and utilize. I advise you to uninstall Roxio, and then download and install ImgBurn. Most people here in SF highly recommend that app because it's lightweight and fast.

Media Player Classic with K-Lite is a great combination, but you can try out VLC media player or Shark007's Free Codec solutions. Most people use and recommend those as well.

ImgBurn is mostly for burning ISOs, but you can make MP3 CDs using WMP.

i just added the real alternative codec to the media player classic and everything is solved now
