Solved Help create .iso file from zip files!

Dear friends,
Okay,i've downloaded the 4GB .iso file for my Home Premium 64-bit from Digital River (Link kindly provided by Britton30). It has downloaded as.zip files. I have WinZip 12 Pro. I am providing a snapshot of the .zip files. Kindly hand-guide me from here on as to how to create an .iso from these files! Thank you.

are you sure you've downloaded windows?

the file name (at the top of the window) seems to be pwhe7.iso - which is already an iso (but gets opened in winzip on your system). it's not 4 GB either.

i believe pwhe7 is partition wizard home edition 7?

Sree, as the name suggests, it is already an iso file. Probably it is file type association which wrongly shows it as a zip. If you have imgburn installed, right click on the downloaded file, it should have a menu in the context menu "open with> imgBurn. If so, it will open with ImgBurn automatically. Then, put a disk in the drive, and click this button ....


It should be written.

If the context menu does not exist, let us know.

Yes, the imgBurn option is present in the context menu. I have used ingBurn before. It was the .zip files which got downloaded that misled and befuddled me right royally! I have actually started the burn process! A bear hug and a big thanks from me to you!You solved the prob.

PS ... it is not a zip actually, as I think. You have, most probably got the iso association with winzip, so it looks like a zip.

You may check it via right click >properties > open with > change, and change the association to imgburn ... but that is not a must.

When extracting an ISO you must have somehow associated the .zip program with ISO's so that it opened this one.
