Completed the clean install but didn't get to install my drivers yet but created a new profile and set up the operating system. Powered it down and today when I turned it on to install the drivers it won't pull up the sign in screen. I get the blue windows sign in screen background but nothing to actually Sign in.

Hello debz8683 and welcome to Seven Forums.

Hard to diagnose what might have happened but it's possible there was a glitch or hiccup during the clean install. Since this install is so new, I think I'd start all over again. If you're trying to clean install a factory OEM version of Windows 7, you might want to go through these tutorials.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174907-clean-install-factory-coa-activation-key.html

And this tutorial has general information about doing a Clean Install.

It might be easiest since you just did a clean install to start over following: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

If you have nothing else on the drive (no user data)
When you get to step 8, make sure there are no partitions on dispalyed on the window. If there are, go to drive options (advanced) and delete all partitions until it is all unallocated space. Then let Windows use all of the space and define the partition scheme.

The other choice is to wait for someone on the BSOD team or a person experiened in install issues to stop in and walk you through repairs.

Your machine, your thread, your choice.

If you didn`t setup a password during the end of the install, you won`t have the log on and password page.

When you say profile do you mean user account ? How many user accounts do you have in total on this machine ?

Is the pc going to windows without any problems ?

I have one user profile and I did another clean install and followed directions to the t. Everything installed properly and was even able to set up my computer preferences and install mozilla. Even got online and shut my computer down safely last night and today when I started the computer it says that windows failed to start. I'm beginning to wonder if this is my hard drive. When I began having problems with the computer it started failing to start up at all or would take 10 to 15 minutes to start and even then all of my programs were running ridiculously slow and I could not get on the Internet. This is my 4th clean install and everything installs just fine and I get everything working but if I shut my computer down or it goes into sleep mode it will not start again.
