Hey! Right I went to dual boot Windows 7 with windows 2000. So I created 2 unallocted spaces or partitions one called 'Data (B:\ NTFS 35GB)' and the other 'w_2k (A:\ NTFS 75gb) and my main win7 drive is 'Win7 (C:\ NTFS 645GB).
Now, so first I got the Windows 2000 CD that was installed to it via ISO image. (In tutorial I was told it would run with NTFS), so I have windows 7 working perfectly with no errors. So, I insert Windows 2000 Pro CD and reboot I select boot from CD. It loads fine and it says (in list for selecting where to install it)
C:\ Unformatted or damaged 645GB (this is the one Win7 is on)
-- Unformatted or Damaged 75GB (The one I wanted 2000 on)
-- Unpartitioned (or something like that) 1mb
-- Unformatted or Damaged 35GB (This is the Data partition)
So I pressed enter on the 75 GB one it said I needed to format it so I click enter and it sayed 'Because your drive is bigger than 1048MB will format to FAT32' (or something like that). So I cancelled and went back and partitoned the 1MB one to said MAX was 207689MB or something max so I used 40000MB. Pressed Enter went back to screen but it said that partition was 207689MB when I did 40000MB. So I deleted that partition (only that one).
Rebooted Windows 7 failed to start 'Cause of this may be new hardware' (or something like that) Then I pressed Start Windows Normally. It still failed so I put the install cd in (for 7) then clicked 'Repair your computer' But I had no system recovery? I remember I did before the smorin' . I went to disk Part and checked my C: Drive and it was RAW! (instead of NTFS).
Please help!? Its an important!
