HELP required on Live mail

Hi

Having major problems which I cant seem to find the answer for despite trawling the net and you tube for the answer. All of a sudden Live mail has stopped working

I get the fault message as follows

I have followed some help from the internet, like deleteing KB2670838 file (not on my system so that didn't help !! )
Followed other advice, check in safe mode, reinstall etc, disable firewall etc and all to no avail.

PLEASE could someone over any help.

Running Windows 7 64bit, Internet explorer 11 Norton AV

Did you try a system restore from before the problem?

Yep, this is proving to be a real issue lol

If it were me, to possibly solve, and to diagnose. I would make a system restore point and then try another email client. There are many.

I have thought of that, perhaps using outlook but hate the fact that something is stopping it working and not knowing?

Don't know whether its related but have a strange issue with internet explorer 11, running google tool bar and although I have cancelled the various options like spell checker and autolink, EVERY time I start the programme they come back again, come back vista all is forgiven !!

In a recent software install, you probably did not untick the box install Google Tool bar. I know that I do not want any tool bars. You can download malwarebytes, and possibly it will remove it.
Try Malwarebytes first and use it once a week
If it does not work with google, try this

I wanted the toolbar as I like using autofill and the search engine, I turned off some of the features and every time I start the browser they come back again !!

I do not think that there is a way to keep it turned off permanently. It is for reasons such as that, as well as security, I prefer not to have it on my computer. There are many people, however, that disagree with me and like Google. I told you what I know, it is now up to you to decide.

I can live without google toolbar with still trying to get livemail to work, suggestions all welcome

Thanks Thrash, a bit brain dead at the moment from trying everything I know to get it working, will follow instructions tomorrow and report back.. Much appreciate all your support guys. I know this has been an issue elsewhere from all my searching to find a solution so will post it in big capitals if it works

If using Internet explorer reset it as well,
Reset process first opening Internet explorer
Also say which add-ons are actually being re-enbled automatically,
Post a screen shot of what add-ons are installed,
Make sure Show all add-ons is selected on the bottom left column,
If there's a Google BHO add-on just disable it,

Thanks Thrash, looked very promising but left it till this orning before giving it ago as I was punch drunk yesterday from trying every thing else, well, followed it to the letter and .............still the same problem

I can see me having to delete all the updates to see if they have stopped it and failing that a fresh install and one update at a time, software install at a time until I know where the conflict is, which is what I,m trying to avoid. All my emails and addresses are on mail which is why I want it working, winmail isn't supported on win 7 (have tried to install winmail which resulted in its own issues and don't have outlook other that 2000 which is not supported, it loads but keeps asking me to set as default every time I open it

BEX is related to DEP, but DEP might not be the root cause.

Please follow this tutorial to give members more background information (event logs, drivers, etc).

This might be a C runtime, .NET, or GPU driver buffer overflow issue. without more information, it's impossible to tell.

If you followed some bad advice elsewhere to turn DEP off - turn it back on, this is a very important piece of Windows protection against attacks.
