Solved HELP: Windows 7 issue!

Hi fellows,

I bought a new SSD and loaded Windows 7 Home Premium x64. All of my software and drivers are loaded and the computer works fine except for one issue.

When I start the computer it eventually goes to a page and asks me what program I want to launch. The choice is as follows:

Windows 7
Windows 7

If I click on the first Windows 7 it loads up normally. If I click on the second Windows 7 it asks me to put in the Windows 7 disk, etc.

So how do I get rid of this second Windows 7, so the computer will automatically recognize the correct Windows 7 and start up automatically like it should?

Did you install Win 7 on the new SSD with the HD connected that already had Win 7 installed?

Hi, I followed the instructions. When I click on the "boot" tab, there is no OS listed. Not one!

Can you advise me how to get the two Windows 7 OS's to showup so I can delete the vestigial Windows 7.

Okay, this time they both showed up in the boot tab and I deleted the bad W7 OS.

Everything is fine now!!
