I've recently installed Win 7 Ultimate on my HTPC. But instead of having Windows fill up the entire screen it leaves a 1-2 inch black gap between the border of the tv and the image.
Ive updated all of the graphics card drivers reinstalled the ATI Catalyst program. Even though the resolution is at 1920 x 1080 there is still that gap.
The previous OS was Vista and it was fine, filled up the entire screen.

the computer is connected to the tv through a HDMI cable through a graphics card.
Gfx card - Saphire HD4850 1GB
TV- Pioneer Plasma 50" Full HD

Help?

Cheers

Hi, try this, go into Device Manager and right click on your Display Driver , and when the option window come's up select Uninstall and click ok, when it has Uninstalled the Display Driver click the button on the top of the Device Manager page that says,
Scan for hardware changes,
let windows reinstall it and see if that helps.

In the CCC, there is a setting for overscan/underscan. Use that after installing latest driver.
