Hibernate deleted

Every night, I hibernate my laptop instead of turning it off.

Lately, for about a month now, it will about 10% of the time lose the hibernation state.

When I turn it on, it starts normal startup sequence, saying it unexpectantly shut down.

Any ideas on what's wrong?

If you have SP1 installed, also make sure you have this hotfix before doing anything else:
A crash memory dump file is not created, or hibernation does not work, when you use a SCSIport miniport driver as the startup device driver in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2
