Solved High CPU Temperature

My Cpu Temperature is going above 72 c without any reason , no apps running , no games running , then also it's above 72 c .. climate is also not so warm it's only 27 c . please tell me how to reduce it ..

Did your overheating problem just start all at once or have you had this problem for some time?
What programs are you monitoring your temps?
Please add you case, power supply and cpu cooler to your specs.

heating starts from the start up , and it kept increasing gradually at this time it is 82 c ..

Where are you getting the temp figures from?
At those temps the core would be clocking back from about 70 and shutting itself down by 80, have you experienced either of these ? if no, I would suspect the accuracy of the temp readings.

No , pc dose't shut down temp keeps increasing even above 82 c .. Temperature readings from bios .

Something is not right, 1st thing to do is download and install CPUID Hardware Monitor to confirm your readings.

Core Temp is good too.

Your cpu may not work with Core Temp, a Pentium D is quite old, but try my other suggestion.

If that doesn`t work, try Speccy. But if I remember correctly Speccy didn`t show my Pentium D`s temprature either. It`s been awhile.
