High RAM Usage & Nothing Is Running

Recently, I noticed that my RAM usage is high. It jumps up to 35 & 40, while it used to be 15% or less. This affects my gameplay and I can't play any game smoothly. CS:GO for example was perfect, now I have a lot of FPS drops and FPS spikes.

The first thing to do is run an antivirus scan
Download and run a scan with malwarebytes
Then run a scan with eset online.
If all are negative try a clean boot to try and find the cause

I don't see anything unusual in the memory usage. 25% usage on a system with 3328 MB seems very reasonable. Do not expect that the sum of memory usage by all processes will equal total usage. It was never intended that it would. The default columns do not account for all process usage and there are major users of memory that are not processes, not all of which are shown by Task Manager. And in this case not all processes are shown. You must select "Show processes from all users".

It does not seem likely that your problem is caused by memory.
