high RAM usage

Hi guys,
I have 16GB of ram in my system and when I casually use my PC it the ram idles at around 7 or 8GB. i dont think this is normal. I have 2 monitors and usualy have 2 firefox open and discord. Are my ram sticks going bad? How do I find out, I think before it used to idle around 3-4GB. I run norton antivirus and malwarebytes in the background. my exact specs are on my profile. I tried playing the new game anthem and when the game starts, the RAM shoots up to around 15.6 GB and I cant even play the game anymore bc its stutter and lagg around etc

Please let me know what i can do to trouble shoot.

Here is the image of task manager, it seems to be firefox. does this mean firefox is infected with a virus, there is no way having 1 window open use that much memory

Your Firefox memory usage is huge. Right now I have 6 open tabs and memory usage is ~700M. Yours is 3745M.
You have to find out why Firefox uses all that memory. Add_on?

I use adblockplus, Ublock origin, grammarly , adguard, pop up blocker, adblocker ultimate, foxy tab , bookmark finder, webmail adblocker
