It seems that quite often there's at least 1 in the batch each month that I don't think I need ( generally dealing with games or foreign language) & I'd like to be able to not have the "updates are ready, etc." always popping up.
I haven't been able to find a 'hide' option like there was in XP.

,so now need to ask: would hiding updates put them in the 'Optionals' or create 'Hidden' like it used to when I used XP? I have several sitting in my 'Optional' now & don't know if I put them there or if Microsoft did.
