Hello fellas, quick question. How can I password protect any type of software installation on win7? Is there a way to do this without having to create another user account without admin privileges? I just want to have my account, but i share my laptop so i just want to make it so that if anyone tried to install something, they would need a password.
Is this possible? Kinda like on a Mac, where you have to type your password for every installation....

thnx

It's best to create a guest account for the user in question and have them use that account which will prevent them from installing anything or messing up your private account. Just give them a password for the guest account and you would need to keep your password secret to your own account.
