How do i Access those folders which I can't?

Well, there are so many folders I cannot access that I normally accessed with WinXP by clicking on properties\security and granting permissions. Now in Win7 when i do that I get nowhere, event though i am the administrator. How can I allow myself access to everything?

thank you for the link. to tell you the truth i could not follow the instructions successfully and had to recur to the reg hack of "take ownership". I found the English slightly stilted. that link needs edit, it has several English mistakes.

You may find this one easier.
Actaulally it was made for that particular person and made in hurry so you may find gramatic mistake there aswell
