How do i back up my files

Im trying to wipe my hd clean in about a few hours or so i wanna know is it possible for me to backup a specefic folder on my harddrive so that when the hd is wiped clean that specific folder that I wanted to keep can be added back to my computer i dont have an external hd and my folder is way to be to fit on a flash drive.Thanks

the folder i am trying to save is 60gb and my main hard drive is 222gb and i have another hd thats on my computer thats 10gb and its used to store my files thats used to recover my pc i tryed to describe what you wanted to the best of my ability i dont know what you mean by partitons free space per parttions or the thing about the disk management picture

I assume with your "main hard drive" (which is really a partition), you mean your C partition (as shown in "Computer"). My idea was to shrink enough space from there to make a seperate partition where you could park your folder. That will work depending on how much free space there is on that partition (look in "Computer"). I have a video tutorial for that. So don't get frightened.
Another question, what is in this gigantic folder - a 60GB folder is quite unusual.

Can you give a screen snip of Disk Management ?

Start :ar: Computer Management :ar: Disk Management

Then use snipping tool to upload it with the paper clip icon

and ya i know all the space on the drive is taken but i can completely remove all that stuff i only need the folder if i have to remove some stuff

Your right, you don't have any space to backup a 60gb folder. Best bet would be to get an external HD to move that file to.

what if i delete something wont take long to free up 100gb if i could back it up what steps would i have to take just for future reference

If you have 100GBs free, you could create a seperate 70GB partition ( or as much as it takes to hold your folder plus 10%) for the data you want to back up and move it into that partition. Here is a little video tutorial I made on how to create a partition. You can ignore the part about moving the data because that is specific to that case. Just use Copy to Folder for moving your 60GBs.
