How do i clear tag suggestions / label assignment

I want to be able to clear some of the tag suggestions from the automatic explorer list.
Eg:
When tagging photos and you mistype a tag (e.g., you meant to type "Mom", but instead you typed "Nom" or something like that). Even if you delete the tag on the file, the tag still shows up in this suggested list of tags in the Info Pane's tag edit box. So, whenever you go to tag a photo the auto-suggest list shows "Nom" with the other recently used tags.

I found this for vista but the label assignment file isnt under photogallery

Me too!

I have hundreds of meaningless tags that keep popping up. I guess they are from files that I have downloaded because I did not create them. I have been searching for days for a way to fix this and found nothing for win 7. This is bs and unbelievably frustrating. The damn things have to be stored somewhere on my computer or they wouldn't be popping up! Why can I not get anyone who can tell me where? This shouldn't be this difficult. I even saw earlier posts in this forum about the same thing and the issue just went unanswered.

Someone must know how to fix this. Please help!
