I've removed it before, but I can't figure out how to do it again. So frustrating.

I'm talking trying to remove the boot up screen which shows your picture, username and "Locked" underneath it, with "Switch User" below. I have to pointlessly click into my image, which then boots me up.

I have no password and I have chosen to not use a password to log in as I have found help information on, but this doesn't help me.

I was being silly and reactivated it some how by being a funny idiot and key pounding my keyboard randomly for a while. I changed my power settings on my Dell, which must have popped it back in.

I'd love whoever can help me! Appreciate any help in advance. :)

Are there other User Accounts in your Control Panel>User Accounts>Manage Other Accounts? Delete them there, or hide them in Computer>Manage>User Accounts.

There is another account which is Guest and it's not turned on, but it's always been there and I didn't make it, so it wouldn't have affected the time I managed to hide the screen.

I can't actually manage to hide them - there is no User Accounts tab under Manage?

Oh hey guys - it's sorted!

See in the screenshot - I clicked 'Change settings that are currently unavailable' then hit save after toggling option choices.

Sweet! Thanks for all your help!

I have the same issue, I set to request no password on wake up and my account is not password protected but every time I restart my computer it will stop on log on screen until I choose my account !
There is no "locked" phrase even under the account picture :(
I tried setting a password for my account and remove it again but still didn't work .
Is there any other solution for this problem ?

Is yours the only account shown to choose?

When you go to Control Panel>User Accounts>Manage Another Account are there any other accounts listed besides Guest, and is Guest turned on or off? Turn it off.

In Control Panel>Power Options>Requre a Password on Wakeup deselect "Require a Password."

I can not find how to delete the "Owner Locked" from my Desk Top. Please help
