Hi,
Firefox actually works well but due to some problems in the internet, could not give correct speed.
It was very slow to start.
There is an option to refresh the firefox.
i usually avoid , installing newer firefox version , as i will lose the saved logins.
i tried, but all the modem lights working normally.
i then , tried to download, which took more time, to download the newer version.
i downloaded the firefox, and I came across a alert that, that showed imported all.
i did find a old firefox data folder on the desktop.
after creating new profile with prefered name, the alert prompted for user id and pw on every site.

I want to retrieve the passwords I saved in , when the problem started.
On opening the old firefox data folder, i found so many profiles.
Is that the place to get my password and saved login.
how do i find the correct profile
I remember created a new profile with my prefered name on the create profile page.
please give me solution

Sounds like a major cluster.

Your passwords are stored in a file in the Firefox profile called key4.db. Just copy that one and only file to your new Firefox profile. You'll need your master password to unlock it in the browser.

Couple of things here. I'd check out Librewolf and check out Bitwarden for your passwords. I'd never, ever would store my passwords in a browser.

If you use Librewolf, go to it's profile under app data and copy/paste you current key4.db file in there.

Read this to recover all of your passwords and just use Bitwarden. Bitwarden is free for one account and is cross platform capable. 3 Tools to Decrypt and Recover Passwords Saved in Firefox • Raymond.CC

Actually, you may have to use Fire Master Cracker, create a dictionary text file with your master password so you can see all of your passwords.

Hi, i raised this query , because, i just created one profile, which has no saved logins.
But i repeated the refresh more than one time, and each time, i got that successfully imported message before, firefox opened.
I even tried refresh in the new profile, and so very much in doubt, which contain the saved logins of most of the sites, i stored .
can i open the key4.db, to see if it contains the passwords
