Kay, one day I was opening the task manager and I accidentally removed or moved some columns around and I can't figure out how to get it back.. I can't find the "Image Name" column in the "Select Process Page Columns" any ideas how I restore the task manager back process tab to normal?

Hi youji and welcome to Seven Forums.

if you open View->Select Columns. A dialogue will open where you can tick the columns you want. To move the column just click on the column header and drag it to where you want.

If something was broken you need to run it up to three times until it runs clean with a reboot between each.

If that does not solve your problem you may need to do a repair install. This will not lose your data but you should make an image just in case. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

If anyone else has any ideas please jump in.

Ah, thanks for the suggestion however I don't think it's a good idea seeing as my problem don't seem to be that big since it's just missing columns in the task manager. I'm mainly looking for the "Image Name" column, it's gotta be a reg hack for it some where to add that .. but like you said it would be nice if anyone else jump in to help.

Yes I agree. If that is your only problem it does seem a bit of overkill which is why I asked for other input.

I google'd "image name missing task manager" and this message board they pointed out something out that seemed to have work, they said the image name column was squashed between the "username" so I sorted it out and got it fixed!
thanks for your help anyway guys, I'll be sure to google more before posting a thread next time sorry for wasting your time! thanks again
