Solved How do i get back windows 7 when i updated to windows 8

I don't spot the Wireless Adapter in that list. Are there more devices that don't have drivers listed? Is it built in or a USB Wireless adapter?

Give me your exact Sony model and I will find and upload your Wireless driver for you now. I want to get to bed and not stay up all night again.

I think I have 2 Usb root hubs not listed and its a built in usb.Pcg-81312L

Look on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop for the model number.

When I put Pcg-81312L into the Vaio Downloads page search box it says it should have a VPCF number extension. Find it.

You can also plug in by ethernet wire, go to the Vaio Downloads page and have it Detect My Model which will be most accurate: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?PRODTYPE=24

Underneath your laptop you should find a sticker looking something similar to my picture.
What does it say under model

Once you install the wireless driver, connect to your network and go online to Windows Updates to get the latest drivers which will appear under optional Windows Updates. Go ahead and install all of your updates with the required restarts as it may deliver several rounds which will include drivers.

Then check the Device Manager to see if any drivers are still missing, find them at the second link above. If you need any help, ask back.

yes two of my usb ports dont work and yes i got the wireless driver and its installing now
