Solved How do I get the image of my desktop to go away

While surfing through various windows. below the window, in the taskbar and above it as well I can see a blurry version of my desktop. Windows 7 OS...thanks for any help I can get

That is part of Windows Aero; Transparency.
Right click on the desktop and select Personalize.
Then select Windows color in the lower part of the window.
Uncheck Enable Transparency.

I don't like the opaque view myself but it will eliminate the blurred views.
