Solved How do i get this moving avatar too work??

No, I just saved the gif on desktop, in the edit avatar page, I first browse for the gif, and when it is loaded, save changes.

And it is there.

Now it is clear.

The maximum admissible size of an avatar is 48.8KB for your stage of membership. Sorry to say that I cannot shrink the image to 48.8 kb ... that is beyond my ability :(
