Solved How do I reactivate Windows 7 after a failed installation for 10?

Hi, I just recently tried to upgrade my media PC to Windows 10 to speed it up a bit and get it more up to date so I don't get viruses and trojans. When I inserted the disk and got the product key in and started the installation, when it got to 100% the computer restarted and Windows 7 told me that my copy of windows might be counterfeit. Any help on this?

MGADiag - Check If Your Version Of Windows Is Genuine

Download and run the MGADiag.exe [Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool] => MGADiag Tool.

Simply download the tool, run the MGADiag.exe, and click Continue. It will immediately tell you if your version of Win 7 is Genuine or not.
The M$ tool however, does not automatically create a log file. What you can do though, is click the COPY button and then PASTE it into notepad and SAVE it. You then need to either paste the output into your post [preferable], or upload the saved log file.

I will try, I hope it works because I have had to use a script in order to give me 30 days of unactivated windows, and I don't like counterfeit copies so I hope it works.

UPDATE: I have found my windows 7 box and now I got that product key working (it was lodged under my desk... dont know why). Thanks a ton for the help though!!
