The machine can't connect to a Homegroup because a profile apparently exists that is attached to the previous name for this computer. It used to be called Business2, but after a Windows reinstall, was renamed Business-Desk.
No idea how an old profile survived (I did a complete reinstall of Win7x64 after an x32 installation) but there it is. When I try to establish a Homegroup (just want to share folders between 2 machines) nothing can connect because the old Business2 has an existing homegroup profile (and no access to leave it).
Where do I find that old computer name and associated profile data? As running, the machine lists only a single user.
