Solved How do I share the desktop and a disk drive?

I have 20+ years experience on Windows. With Win 7, it doesn't seem to matter, as I'm making no progress from which my past experiences should help.

- I have my account Abcd as Administrator
- I have my account Efgh as Standard user (as a precaution)
- I also have the default account, Administrator

I want Abcd and Efgh users to share the same desktop (created by Abcd) and a disk drive (Full control privileges by Abcd). The only difference is Abcd has admin. privileges and Efgh does not. On average, I'd login as standard user. When I, as Abcd Administrator, select advanced sharing from Explorer for the C: drive, there are no options to specify a user. When I login as THE Administrator, I get some default desktop which I also want to do away with.

I am the only person on this computer and the computer will only be shared locally by these 3 accounts. Does this have something to do with Workgroup or Public folder? - neither of which are needed for my setup. Or are there profile settings that I've missed?
