Solved how do i unzip a music file?

I was given a free download of an album in zip form, with a Ticketmaster purchase i made, but after downloading it there is no way to unzip it . I right click but no "unzip" appears. How can I unzip this file?

Win 7 has it's own built in program to unzip files or you can use any number of free programs such as 7-Zip If using the Windows one either right click and look for the Extract All entry and choose the destination or if not there then right click, choose Open With, Choose Program, navigate to C:\Windows\explorer.exe and open it with Windows Explorer then copy and paste the content. Easiest way is to install 7zip make sure you associate it with .zip (And might as well all the others) when installing then just double click the file and extract what you need by either left click/hold the file and dragging it out to the folder or use the Extract button at the top

You should be able to double-click on the file from within Windows Explorer and it will unzip the file. If that doesn't work or if there is no extract all option when you right-click, the zip file might be corrupted. Can you re-download it?

Yea, there is no extract options of any kind when right clicking and double clicking does nothing either. I gather it is probably corrupt. And the link to download has expired.

You can download 7zip from many places just check it with virustotal and your antivirus before using it. Have you tried opening it with Windows Explorer

Nope, Strollin' said if there is no extract option the file is probably corrupt, so I just left it at that.

Then just use 7zip or similar
