I am 25 and feel i have much to learn yet lol. Smarts do not always come with age but Wisdom surely does in my opinion.

I'm 72 and still learning something new every day. Whether I remember it all is another matter

I dont want any any debate in this matter, but I dont think there is a causal relationship between age and wisdom . What a man may gather due to passage of age is experience .... but wisdom is an attitude to behave with that experience ... that attitude is not sure to increase with age :huh:

I have seen a lot of young guys who are wise , and similarly a lot of old guys who are not .

I have seen a lot of young guys who are 2 sandwiches short of a picnic, and a lot of senior citizens who can match wits with the best of the younger generation.

I think I can speak for us all Arc, well I'm going to anyway and say that you are such an example to your generation that we can forgive you almost anything, well I think so anyway!
To me it is such a joy that we have so many different age groups and backgrounds on this Forum and I have rarely seen any dissention. Great respect seems to be shown and given by all. Long may it be so. Tis a pity the World politicans can't join us and see how multi cultural and multi ethnic folk can get along with just good will. Enough of this or I shall burst into tears in a moment.

I used to be young! My wife keeps asking me when I am going to grow up. I always say the same thing. I tried it once for a fortnight in 1959, didn't like it so never tried it again. Don't see the point of putting myself through the trauma again either!

I'm glad the poll is evening up more. I was worried that all us old gimmers chomping our gums might put the young folk off.
We're still a bit down on the 23-27 group.
Mind you I can recall being a pretty tiring period.
Trying to make my mark at work and doing all night what it now takes me all night to do at all
