How to change screen resolution in windows 7...

Hi Folks,

I am using windows 7 in my Dell Inspiron N5010. It has native resolution of 1366x768. When I bought the laptop resolution was correct. But I re-installed the OS recently again and now is showing max resolution is 1024x768. Because of this I am getting blurred videos. Can you please help me out how can I change the resolution back to 1366x768.

I have tried that. But it showing the recommended resolution as 1026x368. This is the max resolution it is showing. But native resolution is 1366x768. Help me

Then you have a driver problem. Go to the Dell website and download/install the driver for your monitor.

You can also uninstall the driver in the Device Manager and hope that the system finds a better driver upon reboot. But that may or may not work.

If you were lucky to find a newer and better driver from Dell as suggested then your problems would be over by now.

If not because you have upgraded from XP and are using the now unsupported Driver that was supplied with your XP system then you can try one more trick. Uninstall the driver and then reinstall it to work in XP SP3 mode and your troubles should be over.
