How to Completely Remove Chrome

Hi, how do I completely remove chrome? I uninstalled it a few weeks ago because I was trying other browsers, but when I re-installed again I was surprised that all my bookmarks from the previous installation were still there. Shouldn't everything have been removed the first time I uninstalled it?

When you removed Google Chrome from Programs and Features ( Control Panel ) did you place a check next to Also delete your browsing data

Everything you use of Google's is stored on their servers/ there is no deleting it.

I purposely never used that option. I imagined that the bookmarks were left behind in a hidden folder like appdata and when i re-installed chrome it looked there.

AppData is a hidden folder.

I just don't understand how can my bookmarks be on the cloud if I chose consciously never to use the 'Chrome Sync' option. I've never tied any of my gmail accounts to chrome. But regardless I'll do as the link says.
