I want to format Seven and re-install it. But I want to completely wipe out everything that's on it right now.

How can I do this with the upgrade CD? Will Seven create backup folders? I would want those removed also during the format. Thanks

I have a C and D drive. Is it possible to move all the space on D over to C, and remove D during the install? Thanks

I think so. (Haven't done it for a few months.)

The drive management tool that you can enter in the installer allows you to delete partitions. You can delete both the C: and D: partitions, leaving you with unallocated space. You can create a new partition that uses all the available space.

It might help if you would "snip" a picture of the drive map from the Disk Management utility and attach it to a post with the "Paper Clip" icon?
