How To Get a Windows 7 ISO

Hello everybody I am looking around and trying to figure out where to get an ISO for a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit computer running Lenovo (this belongs to a friend of mine, it used to be mine), the recovery partitions on the machine have been erased on it and he can't find the disks that I gave him for it, this machine has a valid Windows 7 license and he doesn't want to spend $60 for a brand new set and I told him I had a flash drive and want to download the ISO for Home Premium 64bit and then once installation was complete to go to Lenovo's Website to get the drivers and software needed, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hello mate these could e very easy if tedious but take a look at this tutorial and you can use any borrowed DVD as long as you use the ei.cfg removal tool mentioned in this tutorial and use only the version of Windows originally put on the machine. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html just scroll down in section 1 and you will find info on that tool, and as a by the by you will see that all DVD's contain all versions of Windows you just have to use the version as I said to get back on and this way no bloatware if the original was a factory job.
I mention the right version cos the odd few tend to be greedy and pick Pro or Ultimate when the original was Home for example.

Thanks for the reply, I finally got an ISO for Windows 7 that was universal and when I put the Flash Drive in the laptop, it started to install and when it got almost close to being done with it, the computer all of a sudden decided to shut itself off and after numerous times of trying to turn it on, it just automatically shut off without getting past the Lenovo splash screen, so we had to let it sit for about 15-20 minutes to cool off and after we turned it back on, I started the installation again and guess what, it shut off again on its own, I told them it was a more serious problem and they would be better off just getting a new computer

Yes my friend sounds awfully like a heat or power related problem and as the system cannot be installed so we can run software to find that out this is going to be quite hard to diagnose.

Now I am just guessing here I ma wondering if you have access to another Windows media could you try that and as I am not a fan of USB sticks for this sort of thing a DVD might be worth a try.
