Solved How to get rid of this undeletable file?

I was downloading torrents when one of the torrent I wanted didn't seems to download properly. Instead of a torrent file, it was just a file. I check my download history and it appears as a "window icon next to a hard drive" rather than a torrent file. So I go about trying to delete it but it doesn't work. I have check similar posts in the forum about this issue. I have tried: refresh, restarting the computer, check the file location (it does appear there and I can't get rid of it there too), try deleting using the command prompt, try renaming it and moving it but nothing seems to work.

I did, however, found one that that sort of works. I created a new folder and name it the same as the file. Then when I try to delete the file, it would disappear but then the newly created folder seems to take the place of the old file. So then, I make another new folder, name it the same as the first folder and then delete them both which works but when I refresh, the original file would just pop back up.

Any help, preferably in very simple terms as my computer skills and knowledge is non-existent, would be appreciate.

You might see if the free FileASSASSIN or Unlocker may be able to delete it.

Thanks, I have tried FileASSASSIN but it didn't work. Found a solution in a different thread though which is nice. Loving this site.
