Solved How to re-use a drive letter

I have 5 internal harddrives, 7 external drives, and many other external backup drives that I can use in a drive dock. Over the years, this has left me with very few drive letters available. Most, are not currently being used but also not available for assignment. Is there a way to restore those blocked letters so that I can use them again?
