How to remove Yahoo from Win Live Mail

After reading about Win Live, I know that I want to update to Win 12 from Win 11. I need to know how to do this; ie is there a need to delete Win 11 first? What will that do to my email?

Next, I want to remove Yahoo from any contact with Win Live Mail. I want my Yahoo to go back as the way it was, I have Yahoo premium and it is the main server. I do not like Win Live Mail but I want to keep it mainly to send pictures and videos to other people. I am not a big fan of Yahoo and feel that company is on a long slide to CompuServe land. But, it was my main email for many years so I am stuck with it even though my important stuff is in gmail.

So, I would like a separate Yahoo. Make gmail the main server as I read that google plays nice with Win Mail. Any help from the experts is appreciated...

When you download windows live essentials 12 , it will uninstall 11 and put 12 on
All you need to do to remove yahoo is to go intobaccount settings and delete it ,then re set it up again with the instructions from yahoo for the configuration

You can set up a yahoo email account and a seperate gmail account
