I just purchased a SATA3 128 GB solid-state drive and have been trying to use Acronis TrueImage to transfer my current partitions and I must say without ease. Needing to run start-up repairs after the data has been transferred to new drive but they are not solving the problem. Is there an easier program or should I say more failsafe as I have previously had no problems with Acronis TrueImage but this is the first time I have tried to restore partitions to a smaller disk even though the 128 GB is still larger than my data. I guess this is not much information but at this point I'm fairly frustrated and looking for an easier way without having to do a clean install.
