Just installed Win7 on a XP machine. I used the F/T wizard and saved to my D drive. I have 3 HD's. When I loaded Win7, it only sees the one HD. The other two I found somehow as Raid. Tried to find the BIOS key on startup, but only seen setup, and that doesn't give me the option . Thought maybe an BIOS update would fix that. Would like to get my old settings back. The BIOS is American Megatrends 080014 01/13/09.
Thanks
Nick

Setup is the Bios, there`s probably not an update for it.

You need to post the exact make and model of the pc if you want help.

It's a custom built, so no name or model, but I did find the bios. Thought I read somewhere you could upgrade it.
Thanks

Upgrading a BIOS is a VERY risky operation -- and should NOT even be attempted unless both of the following are true:
1) You have a way to save off the existing working BIOS to some media that can later be used to restore it
2) You have a way to boot the PC and restore from the saved BIOS, in the event the BIOS update goes badly.

Some motherboard manufactures keep putting out BIOS updates longer than other. The only safe place to check is the website for your motherboard to see what BIOS updates they offer.
