Hello guys, this is my first thread, and i m very new to forums.
So i don't know how to ask the help in forums. If i make a mistake please forgive me.

I came to know that we can use Norton ghost to backup the windows 7, and i came to know that it is easy to backup and again restore windows 7 when os corrupts.

So i request the forum members to help me, how to backup my OS,and how to restore again using this software.

If possible please give with screen shots.

Welcome to the Windows 7 Forums!

Windows 7 has a good backup/imaging program built in. Nothing needed except an external, or a separate partition.

To be better protected. it's best that system images get saved to an external or a secondary drive.

Many of us here, thanks to WHS video tutorial, prefer imaging with Macrium Reflect Free Edition. It's an alternative to Windows 7 built-in imaging program. It's super easy to use and both the imaging and recovery process are much faster.

While I really like Nortons Internet Security, for Imaging and File/Folder Backups I would recommend another solution.

You will get many suggestions, but I think youll find the most popular recommended here are:

1) Macrium Reflect (Free)
2) Windows built in backup
Both of which Eldinv has provided links for above :)

3) Acronis
My personal choice & IMHO the best, but its also a paid software.
Some HD makers supply a free version of Acronis. Although it is stripped of all the extra features, its core backup works perfectly fine.
I believe its WD and Seagate HDs that offer it
