Win 7 Professional 64 bit freezes randomly - no BSODS

Hi

Around month ago I reinstalled my windows. Instalation went smooth, I instaled drivers and all necessary stuff.

After some time my PC just freezed, I was unable to do anything and all I could do was turning it off with power button as it is does not respond. Freezes were occuring at least once a day in random moments. While I was browsing internet or while I was playing games, last time while I was listening to music.

At first I installed fix from this link: Fix a Windows 7 System That Randomly Freezes | PCWorld and it help a bit. A bit because now freezes happen like once a week. Latest occured around one hour ago.

Not cool thing is it does not generate minidump file in my windows folder.

Also there is nothing in Event viewer.
Only errors says that previous system shutdown at 18:49:35 on ‎2017-‎02-‎22 was unexpected but there is no error log from this exact time.

Next fatal error is from Kernel-Power: System has rebooted without clean shutting down first.

Before reinstalation of win7 everything worked for around a year without any problems. I used the same drivers provided with hardware. I only instaled a bit newer GPU drivers.

Any suggestions how to fix that ?

couple random thoughts...

unpredictable freezes are usually caused by hardware, which means some trial and error is called for..

first check device manager (start run > devmgmt.msc) to make sure no devices have a check mark next to them.

since the only thing that's changed are your gpu drivers, AND since your video card takes as much power as my house, I wonder if the new gpu drivers have "improved" your video card's capabilities and now its drawing more power. Might as well go back to the previous driver and see if that helps. Another way to rule out the video card would be to temporarily underclock it, or better yet, uninstall it and use the Z170 on-board graphics for a couple days.

Though it may seem unlikely, its possible that your hard drive or motherboard has gone bad right around the time of the new windows install. The SSD drive is almost certainly fine, but spinning drives go bad all the time, so the way to test for it being the problem is to disconnect your 1TB drive for a few days. Among your components, that's the one that is most prone to hardware failure. That drive has been around since 2011, its your most mechanical component, and its the least heat tolerant. I always mount a fan right on the spinning disk when building machines that have them.

CPUs, memory, and newer PSUs like yours rarely fail, so lets assume they are fine

motherboards go bad all the time but yours is new enough that its probably not an issue. Even so, disabling onboard audio for a few days would be something else to check.

Another thing to consider is the electrical efficiency of your system Are your video cards seated fully, are your video and audio cables plugged in fully. Imperfect electrical connections cause voltage fluctuations which sometimes create random device errors.

All this is aimed at finding bad hardware which is where I tend to start with random bsod issues, but of course this could all be software related.

Two things, I tested memories with MemTest and wfter 2,5 h of test it showed 0 errors.

Also I monitored temperatures and after few hours of browsing internet and playing games they were at 65 celsius degree max so I guess it's not problem with memory or overheating.
