Hp G70 Issues

Hi, I have an Hp G70-481NR and right now i am having a problem. First of all, it does not even boot. It just starts and there is a black screen, (no hp boot logo comes up). I have checked the RAM, Hard drive, and the Video card/chip. I have tried a hard reset numerous times and nothing has worked. When i boot it, you can hear the hard drive powering on so it does work... Please help me

Try removing the HD, boot up, boot down, refit HD & boot up.

tried that no luck. This issue started about a month ago. sometimes when i would close the lid it would not want to resume anymore (it would just stay at a black screen) so i would always have to do a hard reset.
