Solved i can't delete a folder in windows 7?

Have you tried logging in as the default Administrator? Typing Administrator as the username and then press Enter, and should be logged in as the default Admin.

Also you could try turning off the UAC (User Account Control).

You can enable the Administrator account from the Command Prompt;

Start :orb: > Type (without quotes) "cmd" > Right-Click "cmd" > "Run As Administrator"

Then follow the tutorial listed in post #23.

Note I will try and get some extra support.

Thank you for your help & I'm sorry for keep bothering you.

When i follow the 23 step and i log off from it gives me this error when i log on administrator account. C:\windows\system32\systemprofile\Desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network. Check to to make sure the disk is properly inserted.

That's the only reason i want to clean this window out so i can use my account. Thanks again.

Have you moved User folders to another location? The problems are similar to unfixable permissioning and other errors that occur sometimes when moving the User folders rather than linking them via libraries.

It also needs to be emphasized again that the correct way to uninstall a program is not to delete it's folder but Uninstall it in Control Panel>Programs and Features. If you are deleting Program Files , or deleting or moving System files then you may have already created irreparable damage but you can check System file conditions with SFC -SCANNOW Command .

To have for repairs or possible reinstall try using Universal USB Installer to write to flash stick the official ISO download for your licensed version in the correct bit-version that you have now.

Otherwise burn to DVD using the MS tool or ImgBurn at 4x speed.

It's very important that you take the time to study the Clean Reinstall steps. Only if you commit to following those steps closely and sticking with the methods and tools given will you avoid further problems. If you stick with them closely however, you'll get and keep a perfect installation.

Keep us posted as you go.

Thank you for heads up Gregrocker,

I run the sfc /scannow and it say the same that you have in tutorials that's why I'm using your pic if that's okay with you Sir? Just to show you.

That's what i got when the scan is finish, so my guess is my files aren't corrupted right?

Guess not. So do you want to try creating another account to see if that is sufficient or do you want to Clean Reinstall?

You can create a new account in Control Panel>User Accounts>Manage Another Account to set it all up, move your files over and see if it works better. Then after testing it for some time you can delete the other account, saving it's files to the desktop in case you forgot anything.

Well, what's you're recommendation should i make a new account or Clean Re-install?

I would want a Clean Reinstall if there is corruption since you don't know how deep it runs and can settle it all now by getting the best possible reinstall, then stick with the tools and methods given to keep it running best.

You also have us to help you since this is a specialty of our forums.

If you're not ready yet then you can try a new User account but setting it all up will take time that you might want to better invest in a reinstall now.

okay thanks a lot for your help, Anyway I'm burning the ISO file right now using USB Installer and it's work fine. Once this done I'll go head and try making a new account first if that works then, I'll give a try on Clean Clean Re-install? I hope it works cause you guys help me so much than any other forums. Thank you Once again.

No sense in trying to create a New Account if you are going to Clean Reinstall since everything will be wiped out anyway. I'd only bother if you want to see if that solves your problem. But it seems like you want to get a Clean Reisntall which is always a good thing.

Okay I am going to do the Clean re-install like you said it always good. But the error i posted on #32, cause of that my DVD didn't burn and it show me as empty disk that's why i use PowerISO burner now it works. I'll keep posted as i go. Thanks a lot for your help.

You are not booting the DVD if you got that error message. Did you see that the step in tutorial clearly says to Boot the installer?

You need to boot the DVD and follow the illustrated steps in Clean Install Windows 7.

There are two ways to boot the DVD. Enter BIOS setup to change the Boot order to DVD drive first, then HD, or tap the key given at boot for one-time BIOS BOot Menu key.
