I have a computer that broke and I had my friend that works at IBM take a look at it he said it has a bad graphics card. I want to buy a cheap graphics card just so I can use it not for gaming maybe PhotoShop. I'm not sure what kind of card it needs.

As I can see that is PCI slot,but I think they are not for graphic cards. Can you see the model of the motherboard,and I will tell you about the graphic cards that is supported.

Those are 1st generation PCI slots. They take 1st generation PCI (VGA) Video cards.

The motherboard is Asus P4G533 - LA(just saw that on picture). According to this,
Graphics Connector (AGP)None
I think that you cannot add graphic cards.
But I'll let the others who are more specialized about this answer to you. :)

If I cannot add one is there any use for this computer without being able to see anything? Or is it parts?

Yeah, the old graphics cards are pretty cheap, but entire computers are relatively cheap too. Tell us about your budget.

The computer i'm on right now is far better than that one. That computer is running windows XP Home Eddition it is a Compaq Intel inside Pentium 4 presario 6000. It will most likely be used to store backups for the house or photoshoping.
