This is more of a request than a need for help i guess so not really sure its place on the forum (mods move if necessary!!)
But heres the issue! Im looking to do my local snooker club a favour and help them out with a computer issue they have as their ageing system has died, and in the current climate arent exactly wanting to pay out the £1000's for a new up to date system.
So what id like help with, and or if someone could create me a simple program to help them work out the cost of the tables being played on.
They charge by the hour, but that is obviously broken down to by per minute so its accurate.
So what im asking is for a simple program with say 9 rectangles on it that represents each snooker table, once each box is clicked to represent a player starting on it, a time will be displayed with the current cost, which will rise as the time does.
Clicking this again will pause the table and time so the price can be viewed, and then a way of resetting the table to show that the game has finished, as well as a visual representation such as a red rectangle for stopped and a green rectangle to show active.
Along with this obviously i would need it to be easy to edit for them so they can change the prices when and if they need to.
I hope this makes sense to someone, and a few of you guys could help me out with this program, id like to surprise them with a new computer i have laying around that i knocked together for them, as well as the program to help them out as theyre going back to the paper and calculator route. plus on a personal note, the girl that works there is suuuuuper cute and it would be great to impress her .. ha!!
thanks in advance guys
