Solved I need help with importing fav's to IE11

Hello all,

I am trying to update my bookmarks/fav'e in IE11 so I open IE, file > import> import from file > browse > go to my documents > go to computer folder and there is almost nothing there. See screenshots. Obviously there is a lot there including my JSON file which i want to import, and have done may times before but today there is nothing else there. I tried checking different libraries etc, but no dice.

Why is this and can anyone help me figure out how to find the full listed folder?

In your first screen print in the bottom right you have HTML files selected in the dropdown.
Click on the dropdown list and select all files (or what ever choice you prefer).

Hi,
For the record,
You can copy and paste urls in the favorites folder/ create new folders...
Just click Start and click on your user name under your user image,
Then open the Favorites folder and you'll see everything in there,

Well that was easy, duh. However when i select the JSON file it loads the file name into the box after the address already there (C: etc) and would not work. I deleted the current file name and then browsed to the correct file and added it, but then it said it could not import it them. I dont know if it is because there are already bookmarks there, but i thought it would overwrite them. See screenshots pls.

Ok, I deleted all my bookmarks in IE. I still cannot import my JSON file to IE like I have always done. I need help please in figuring our why I cannot import the fav's

Done, soved
