Well I have dual monitors, one is my TV and the other is my monitor. When i run a program like VLC (Video player) - Well when i finish a show on my TV, i turn off the TV and sound, and monitor. Then when i open VLC again, the program automatically is on my TV, which is off. So In XP i use to just, right click on task bar and move. Now thats gone! Anyone have a clue how i can move programs from the TV without turning on the TV everytime.

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
Or you could try and hold down the WinKey and press the up arrow. That'll maximize the window and you'll be able to grab the title bar and move it from there.

You could always try the new short cut (Windows Key + P) To change your monitor setting to display only on the on you want, i find this extremely useful as it stops my mouse going over to a monitor that's not on. It's a real quick way rather than going into settings each time.

I use a fast and reliable method: Click the VLC taskbar button (or any other window showing in a wrong display), press and hold the Win-key and press Up, then two times Left if the TV is located right to the monitor, or two times Right if it is on the left.

Explanation:
TV is on the right side of the monitor: Win-Up maximizes the active window. Win-Left snaps the window to left, next Win-Left moves it to the display on the left.

TV is on the left side of the monitor: Win-Up maximizes the active window. Win-Right snaps the window to right, next Win-Right moves it to the display on the right.

Don't laugh!:D I am serious, this really sounds more complicated than it really is, you can do it in one second.
