Hello all. I have been searching for days now on why my I/O is so constant. I noticed this a few days ago and cant figure out what to do about it. This is a gaming PC. It has a Asus Rampage MB, Intel Quad Core 2.4Ghz, 8Gb RAM, NVIDIA GTX260, Seagate ST3250310ns hard drives. This PC is running Windos 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I did have them mirrored but now i am only running on one of them. I have been noticing lag so I checked everything and have gotten into the Resource Monitor. The Highest Activity Monitor stays at about 76% and stays there. I cant find out what is using that. Can anyone point me to the right direction to diagnose this and fix?

thanks,
RR

Hello Rhino, welcome to the Seven Forums.

The reason you've got no replies might be that you question is quite difficult to understand. I/O means computers input / output system as told here.

So what do you mean? Constant I/O i.e. constant input and output? At least to me this is almost impossible to understand. Please try to explain your issue once more.

Kari
