I really need your opinion

Hi i'm trying to build a custom PC for the very first time, and I need your guys opinion about it.

The components are:

i5-4690k

MSI Z97 Gaming 7

HDD 1TB WD Purple

DDR3 2x8GB 1866MHz Kingston HyperX Beast

Gforce GTX960 MSI 2GB DDR5

Cooler Master seidon 240M Liquid Cooling

CM600M PSU

What do you think about this custom build? I really need your guys opinion.Because now i have a problem about blue screen.It show me error memory management.

I would add an SSD for the boot drive, and use the purple HD for program/data storage.

i already plan to buy a SSD.But now i have a blue screen problem.I dont know either is my HDD problem or RAM problem,because it just show me MEMORY MANAGEMENT

I would not use purple for data either, purples are designed for sequential read/write (video surveillance systems - WD Purple Surveillance Storage).

Agreed with Mellon Head an SSD is the best thing you can do (you won't regret a bit).

For data drive get a WD Black if you can afford (5 year warranty and good performance) or a Blue (good performance but 1TB max).

Good point on the purple. I had forgotten that they are for surveillance systems.

OP: Get a black or blue drive instead, Like GokAy says.

Hey there jkent5223,

Here are my two cents on this:
You computer is pretty optimized for gaming. I would consider a better GPU for better performance in games as this one might not handle heavier ones on better resolution.
As the guys explained, WD Purple is a surveillance-class drive and is not the most appropriate choice for a storage drive for a regular desktop. I would consider a SSD as a boot drive for the OS and most demanding applications/games and a regular drive such as WD Blue/WD Green for secondary storage. I don't suggest greens for anything other than backup purposes. Blues would be nice but why isn't WD producing them beyond 1 TB?

Also I would get Corsair ram

Re seat the ram, switch the slots etc, run memtest etc.

WD Blue is designed for everyday usage, simple computing and not so demanding workloads. Pretty much regular users if such type rarely need capacities over 1TB. For the more advanced users there's WD Black and WD Green - one for the performance-oriented builds that have heavier workloads, longer operations and demand for more performance storage and one for massive storage spaces for data that doesn't need fast access times and higher transfer speeds.

i have tried that before,show me hardware error.....orzzzzzz
mostly would it be the ram problem or hard disk?

Did memtest show errors ?

At least both are LGA 1150 board a cpu.
